BROWN RUDNICK CHARITABLE FOUNDATION CORP. HOLDS BOARD OF DIRECTOR ELECTIONS FOR 10th ANNIVERSARY YEAR

Boston, MA, January 28, 2011 – The Brown Rudnick Charitable Foundation Corp., a nonprofit, tax-exempt entity established by attorneys from the law firm Brown Rudnick LLP, today announced that it has elected two new members to its Board of Directors, Boston associates Angelo Thalassinos and Benjamin M. Welch.

The Foundation Board also re-elected current Foundation President Cheryl Pinarchick and four current Directors -- Michael J. Camilleri, Henry (Buddy) W. Menn III, Edward D. Pare, Jr., and Nancy R. Wilsker -- to a new three-year term. Together, these attorneys will participate in the Foundation’s grant programs designed to improve inner-city education.

Albert W. Wallis, executive director of the Brown Rudnick Charitable Foundation Corp., stated, “As we celebrate the Foundation’s 10th anniversary, our Officers and Board Directors are reaffirming the Foundation’s focus, breadth and success in helping to improve inner-city education. We look to the good work ahead and anticipate that the coming years will take us to greater heights in bettering our Firm, our profession and our communities.” Since its inception in 2001, the Foundation has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in educational grants, and through the law firm of Brown Rudnick generated hundreds of hours in pro bono representation and volunteer support.
